We had briefly been shown how to link webpages through flash CS3, to do this we had to create a object, turn it into a button or movie clip and call it a name, I called mine test.
We then had to copy the link and use a " link to webpage " actionscript, and then paste the webpage link into the space between the speech marks, with the green text which was the example text.
Then by activating the script we were able to click onto the object and then it would take us to the home college site.
We also did a demo on animating web banners, we basically tried to animate a reflection of a lady in a boat, we did this by getting 4 images, and vertical flipping 3 of them, and leaving 1 top side, we then went to....
Filter>distort>ripple
we then changed the first one to a small 36, the second to a medium 36 and then the 3rd to a large 36.
We then cropped each image and then copy and pasted it into flash.
From here we turned each small, medium and large to movie clips, and turned the topside image into a movie clip also and jumped inside it to edit it. we then created 2 layers, the top layer and the bottom layer, with the bottom layers having the small, medium and large.
Placing each image every 5 frames, and the top layer having a continuous path, this created a water reflection animation.
